On 9th June 2003 Sony Music will release THE ESSENTIAL PAUL YOUNG.
THE ESSENTIAL PAUL YOUNG is the definitive, career-spanning, greatest hits collection bringing together, for the first time, material from all the studio albums plus a selection of unreleased tracks and live  recordings and is a celebration of Paul Young's 20 year pop career.

This special 18 track CD features all the hit singles including,'Everytime You Go Away', 'Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)', 'Senza Una Donna', 'Come Back And Stay' and 'Love Of The Common People' plus the previously unreleased 'Heart Full Of Rain' originally recorded in 1993 during the recording sessions for Paul's 4 album of all new material 'The Crossing'.

The album also includes Live versions of the Dusty Springfield classic 'I Close My Eye's & Count To Ten' and Joy Divison's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London in 1983 and 1985  respectively and Paul's 1992 cover of 'What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted', recorded for the Fried Green Tomatoes At The Whistle Stop Cafe OST, and, until now, never before available on a Paul Young album!
